Peony Potted in flower ....white with gold centre....very fragrant
This Peony is in flower now ( 5th November) One flower is open with another bud coming.
The white petals open out wide to saucer size with gold throat. The flower has a wonderful fragrance.
This is a beautiful older peony, having been potted up from a well established garden, so you may not see it in Garden Centres.
Peonies are wonderful cut flowers, they like the sun, are very drought tolerant after a year or two and put on a spectacular show this time of the year.
They need a square metre garden space to show all their glory.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
