Whakatane Ulysses Motorcycle Club Annual Mountain to Sea Charity Ride takes place on Sunday 8th November 2020. Leaving from Kawerau New World carpark at 11.00am. Ride of 60-70 kms finishing at Thornton Beach Holiday Park with BBQ, auction and raffles. Proceeds to EBOP Brain Injury Assn Inc. Entry fee $20.00 includes Mountain to Sea ride badge.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
