Annual Plant sale Carterton Farmers' Market NOVEMBER 1ST
On 1st November, The Annual Plant Sale is on at Carterton Farmers' Market. Open from 9am to 12.30pm.
Over 30 stalls selling everything from rare fruits to rhubarb, monstera to myoga ginger, sweet peas to spaghetti squash, yacon to yucca, peonies to passionfruit, cucumber plants to cabbage seedlings. Stock up for your garden.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
