RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET.

Arthur from Rangiora

BIG, and, MOST SINCERE APOLOGIES, to all those visitors to the RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET who found that it was not on. By 8.30 am there were only 3 stall holders, we had a discussion re the very strong winds and decided that for health and safety reasons it would be better not to have the market as there could be problems with gazebos lifting and goods being blown off the tables. By 9 am there were another 2 stall holders arrive and after that no more. We feel that we made the right decision under the circumstances.
The next market will be on the 18th October.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
