This girl needed a new bike so she and her mum Jess Robertshaw held an old fashioned lemonade stand on the corner in Halswell.
Robertshaw posted about it on Neighbourly and Facebook - saying it was to raise money for a bike - and a "lovely generous soul" dropped off a bike.
"I can’t believe the community spirit," Robertshaw said.
The money she raised was put into her Christmas holiday fund instead.
