This year we pay homage to Henry Hayward , NZ’s greatest Showman, Entertainer extraordinaire and the Mogul behind the development of NZ Surburban Cinema (Netflix of his hey day) who resided locally at The Cliffs 25 Hinemoa Street.
There will be: A Circus to see, a Workshop to try, Jazz music to savour (Jazz festival from 8th-11th October)
Street Fashion Shows to experience, Vintage cars to check out, and Heritage Displays, Food & Fare from our local businesses to enjoy as we celebrate our unique place in Auckland’s history.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
