Passers-by looked on with mirth and confusion at Alex Dyer's act of "productive civil disobedience".
Dyer was occupying a car park in central Wellington - sitting at a desk with his laptop open, engrossed in a meeting - having fed the meter for its use
His act was part of the Picnics in the Park movement which repurposes underutilised street space into neighbourhood amenities.

Stamps wanted
I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
