COPD support group seeking helpers
Asthma Marlborough is looking for friendly people to help with their COPD group; setting up and packing down equipment, helping with afternoon tea, supporting nurses during the group session, and/or transporting clients.
The COPD group meets twice per month on Thursdays (1:30 to 3pm).

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
