MILFORD NORTH SHORE - RABBIT LIVING IN THE CARPARK

Rick from Hauraki

Outside THE HUB Bar in the bushes and has been there for about 2 weeks. Myself and my boys have been trying to catch it to provide company for our lady open range rabbit, yuanyuan. We found out an hour ago that late last week a lady (maybe called Elizabeth) caught the rabbit and rang the RSPCA, We have looked on their site and the lostpets site that they list lost and found animals on but no sign of aforementioned rabbit. The rabbit is small, light brown all over with white flashings on its behind and its right ear is ripped and a small part dangles off.

Please contact me if you know anything about this rabbit.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
