We're looking for a new Administrator

Jon-Paul from Willowgrove Consulting Limited

We have a position opened up for an experienced administrator working in our office.

Financial services or insurance industry experience is desirable but not expected, more that we need an experienced administrator who can start and learn what's needed quickly.

The role is part-time and flexible on hours and working/contract arrangements. We understand life happens and for us it is about getting the job done without setting a crushing routine.

We are aiming at school hours typically, so would suit someone with kids looking to return to work but still needs flexibility.

Essential skills needed are:
General administration, printing, filing, mail, email and website (use not design) skills.
As we are a highly automated business and strong computer skills are essential.
Experience with Microsoft Office
Cloud-based tools and systems experience is essential, though specific cloud app experience is not necessary as these are industry systems and training will be provided.

We run an Apple environment, so experience with an Apple Mac would be an advantage but not essential.

The role is expected to grow and increasing hours and scope of the job is expected. Which may suit someone looking for fewer hours now with the opportunity to grow or increase them later.

If you think this is something you would like to discuss further, please contact J-P through this link www.wgcl.live...

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?
