Post from Gerard Holden Should be Removed:

Carole & Wayne from Pukehangi - Mangakakahi

I commented on the post below to have "neighbourly" put a HOLD on my messages that were by no means bad in any way, apparently a few others as well had their messages put on hold and yet Mr Holden was allowed to postas below....?????

Get them out of Rotorua. Get Rotorua taken off quarantine list. Public

Gerard Holden from Springfield - Tihiotonga

Get them out of Rotorua. Get Rotorua taken off quarantine list. These hotels are in the city centre and one close to the Lakefront. And Eat Street etc. Lakes District (Rotorua/Taupo District Health Board area) safest area in New Zealand. There will be domestic tourists wanting to visit. As they will want to go to Queenstown and Wanaka.

Accomodation that is well out of towns and cities should be the first priority. An suggestions folks?

www.nzherald.co.nz......

Quote from the Queenstown mayor "However, given the own-goals that have been scored over the past week I would need a very large amount of convincing that residents in our region were not going to be exposed unnecessarily to infection with Covid-19."

Who would like to organise protest marches in Rotorua?
And organise a presence outside the two hotels?

Who will approach Todd McClay?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: Could having a bigger university presence bring new opportunities and energy to the Bay of Plenty?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in The Post, the University of Waikato is planting roots in Tauranga as it works on “ambitious plans” to grow its Durham St campus. The goal? To see Tauranga recognised as a true “university city.”

We want to know: Could having a bigger university presence bring new opportunities and energy to the region? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
