Join the ever-popular Peta Mathias – cook, raconteur, traveller, writer, singer, and TV star at a Gala Afternoon Tea and exclusive fundraising event for Featherston Booktown, limited to 50 people. Peta will be doing a cooking demonstration, tasting, and reading from her new book, Eat Your Heart Out: Love Stories from Around the World.

On Friday 10 July Elizabeth Knox will be in conversation with broadcaster, writer and chicken fancier, Noelle McCarthy on her internationally bestselling book: The Absolute Book.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
