Water waste
Since lock down we have been walking around the neighbourhood and wonder has anyone else noticed water leaking onto footpaths in Glenfield? We have found one considerable leak outside 72 Peach Rd, Glenfield, that the birds are washing themselves in the gutter with, and another outside 1 Stanley Rd, Glenfield (corner of Roberts Rd and Stanley Rd). We have reported this to Watercare on 11th May and have not had any response from them. Since there is a water restriction in place, it will be interesting to see how quickly they respond.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
