ANZAC Day

Rachel from Aokautere - Fitzherbert

Lest we Forget.
ANZAC Day will be a different experience this year. Tomorrow we're all invited to #StandAtDawn, while apart we are together as one.

Join the nation at 6am on Saturday 25 April to commemorate this national occasion. Stand at your letterbox, at the front door, in your lounge rooms, balconies or in your driveway. Wherever you are in the world, stand and take a moment to remember our fallen.

Tune into Radio NZ National and listen live for the official dawn service broadcast commencing at 6am. Veterans are encouraged to wear their medals just as they would for the official public gathering.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
