The Berhampore Fruit and Vege Co-op is up and running and is available to any locals who are in need, or finding it hard to get to a market or afford regular retail prices. You don't need to purchase every week, and it's easy to do. Contact Coordinator Bruce on 027 275 6041 today. The next distribution will be on Thursday 30th April from a central Bermpore pick-up point between 4-6pm.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
