North Shore Womens Centre is still operational, however the team are using platforms such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Zoom and Skype as a way of connecting with our community.
For further information on our services, please refer to our website or alternatively give us a call on 444 4618 and speak to one of our team.
Briefly our services are:-
free social work support
legal advice (Family Law) only
and counselling - costs as follows:-
$15 per session (for women with children 17yrs and under)
$50 per session (for all other women)
(Max 6 sessions)

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
