Welcome to CREST. Cashmere Residents Emergency Support Team. We are supported by the Christchurch City Council, Cashmere School and Rotary and the Cashmere Presbyterian Church. We aim to provide a Community Hub in Cashmere at the time of a disaster.It will provide information and assistance and will be a safe place for the community to come together to support one another. A generator will supply emergency power. The Hub will be at the Presbyterian Church at the corner of Macmillan Ave and Dyers Pass Rd. It is unable to open at the time of a Pandemic. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
