wool and knitters
Hi everyone out there having a clean up during isolation. If you have any wool you no longer want, please think about giving it to CRAFTY VOLUNTEERS to knit up for our local charities. Contact Shona on 027 2404714 to arrange pick up when we can move around again, .or you can drop it into ORNATE (beside PaperPlus in Mstn)
If you are a knitter maybe you could use your time to knit up something for 0 to 5 year olds or even just some peggy squares. (30sts 60 rows with double knit on size 4mm or old 8 needles.)
Every little bit helps our locals. Thankyou.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
