Fun Bowls Tournament
We're having a fun tournament at the Waiuku Bowling Club on Sunday 22nd March at 10am. Its for anyone keen to have a go - teams of 4 with at least 1 female but you are allowed one real bowler. $60 entry per team with at least 4 guaranteed games, prizes for winners and a prize for best dressed team. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
