Volunteers needed this Friday & Saturday
The Blenheim House & Garden Tours are on this Friday and Saturday. We are still desperately in need of more wonderful volunteers to help out, in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ! The tours take place on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of March.
To say thank you (heaps) for volunteering for the day, you can check out the amazing houses with a free ticket to the other tour day. So, it’s a fantastic opportunity to check out eight beautiful homes around Blenheim.
Volunteers help out with the following at a designated tour house:
• Assisting with registration in the morning
• Putting up signage
• Being stationed around the house to help move people along to avoid congestion
• Ongoing monitoring of wristbands.
• Ensuring people use their shoe bags and don’t leave shoes at the door
We would really appreciate it if could help us by sharing this volunteering opportunity with family and friends! Alternatively if you know of any groups you think may be interested – let me know and I will get in touch with them 😊
If you're interested or want to find out more details please email us on volunteer@bcf.org.nz or phone us on 0508 105 105.

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
-
9.7% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.2% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
