Church Restoration
My first post shows some before and after photos of a grand old wooden church which opened in 1866. I was contracted to remove the many years of paint from the internal walls and windows and paint the ceiling, gloss the windows and oil the walls. It was a challenging job, that became a labour of love, but the end results are truely stunning.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
