Fire today just off Gravatt Road _ Famiy will need help, lots help
A sad day for a young family. They lost everything in a house fire. I git there and it was in the neighbours property. It wasnt even through the fence at the time I arrived. A small group tried but hoses didn't reach, were to short, knotted up and low pressure we couldn't do anything. it turned. Very saddened and we need some of the community to help this young family, I dont know who they are
I feel the fire brigade took to long to get here, to little staff, and came from Golf Road. Traffic and we are a long way away, to little to late.
This was a big fire, explosions and flying embers, burning grass . Papamoa is a long way from urgent help, I made several 111 calls everything is so slow.
I saw the fire before it came over the fence (hope this is being investigated in a fire ban) from neighbours, told burning rubbish, kids toys burning, some ones bride is gone, a nice home.
Many unanswered questions.
This family needs help, what do we do to help everyone.
