Please help find a missing black thick A4 folder - lost at Avondale Market - $500 reward if returned intact.

Ashleigh Neighbourly Lead from Avondale

Hi Neighbours - I'm hoping you can help!

A member of the community has contacted me urgently as their folder was left on the green box in front of Z gas station and McDonald’s next to the Avondale Sunday markets. The folder comprises of many documents inside permanently fitted plastic pockets. At the back, held with small bulldog clip, are a few pages of petition forms. Some full with signatures and some blank.

This person went back and no folder to be seen anywhere. Nor had it been handed into the Z Station or McDonalds either.

They have reported their folder as lost property. Police Report Ref. No. 200113/5826.

This is a devastating loss for this member as it is a great deal of work down the drain and they are hoping for the safe and complete return of their black folder and all the signed petition forms. So if you have any information or know where this folder is, please let me know so I can help this lady ❤️ Thank you

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
