Daycare recommendation
If anyone is looking for a recommendation for a daycare, I just wanted to put a shout out to Royal Oak Childcare (Crown St) - they have been so amazing with my almost two-year old. It's so good knowing that he's so happy and well cared for when spending his days there. Such a relief for a parent. I wanted to put this out there as I really struggled to make a decision about childcare and I was very keen to get suggestions / recommendations. So I hope this is useful to someone!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
