Blue flowered climber - Asarina
Fresh young plant growing in 10cm pot.
This climber has dainty leaves with deep blue thumb sized flowers right through the Summer. It needs a trellis or fence to climb up but also grows in hanging baskets or pots.
Strictly speaking it is an annual and is a bit frost tender, but it will last two or three seasons. I cut 2 metres of growth off one of my plants growing in a large pot, and its coming away happily again for the Summer.
It is not invasive.
I'd leave this plant in its pot for a month or two yet till its root system fills the pot and then carefully ease it into the ground or where you want it
