PLEASE SIGN SH16 Petition to remedy congestion between Brigham Creek Road and Waimauku
Hi, I have recently started a petition to the House of Representatives asking the Government to approve funding now for the New Zealand Transport Agency to take immediate action to remedy safety concerns and congestion on SH16 between Brigham Creek Road and Waimauku by increasing the road to four lanes.
Currently improvements to this section of road are at least 10 years away and by then the congestion will be diabolical.
Please sign the petition by clicking the link below:

It is very important to get as many signatures as possible so ask your friends to sign as well.
Thank you
Lindsay Andrews.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
