DUCKS AND DUCKLINGS CROSSING ( top corner of Abercrombie Street & Cook Street ) they seem to be crossing in the morning and then back again in the afternoon evening.

Marie from Howick

Please be aware of animals crossing the roads.

Mum duck and her 13 babies trying to navigate there way across the busy Cook Street road daily.

There are several ducks with their little ones that have been visiting our streets lately, as the babies can’t yet fly the only way for them to travel is to waddle around town and navigate across the busy roads which does unfortunately not always end well.
If people could please be mindful when driving and keep an eye out and slow down to let them cross.
Thanks
