What are your thoughts on an electronic bus card?

Mandy Te Reporter from Horowhenua Mail

Hi neighbours, public transport users could soon be paying for buses via an electronic card called a Bee Card. The card lets people top up online, and can be used to tag on and off after a trip. Whanganui will get it in December and the rest of the region in 2020. Do you support having an electronic bus card? Will it make your trips easier? Comment below.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
