Friendship Cup - Auckland Badminton Tournament

Hi Neighbours,

In 20th Oct, the 3rd “Friendship Cup” Auckland Badminton Tournament has successfully held by International Women’s Association of New Zealand, Aotea Sport and Recreation Association Inc, Asian Library Trust in Badminton North Harbour.

There were 22 Teams, about 150 players participated this whole day sport event.

Jennifer Liao & Chao Yu thanks for Local MP Hon Maggie Barry supported in that day and had a wonderful speech before the game. She encouraged the community taking sports activities to improve wellbeing. Find out more

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
