Dining room table and 6 chairs, grab yourself a bargain

Margaret from Taupo Central

Well loved, 6 upholstered chairs and solid wood extendable lovely oval table which also comes with a glass top for the normal table size, which we have left on every day.
The extendable piece of the table has only ever been used approximately 4 times but is extremely handy if you are having say the family Christmas at your house :)
There are numerous scratches, marks etc mainly on the chairs and the feet of the table. Also a few buttons missing on the diamond buttoned chairs. However we have loved it the way it is and dont seem to notice them as the actual table top, with the glass protection is pretty good apart from a few blemishes as per photos.

The chairs also get a regular clean when we clean the carpets.

The dimensions are 1740 (normal length) then 2250 when extended and 1090 in width.

This was a quality piece of furniture in its day and if someone wanted to get this lovely dining room suite back to its perfect former glory, it would make a great restoration project.

It comes from a clean, smoke free home.

Price: $299

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
