Race to the Brewery 2020

Kylie from Property Brokers Sales & Rentals HQ

If you are looking for a fantastic event for your company or a group of mates to get involved in, look no further than the Property Brokers Race to the Brewery.

Run as a fundraiser for Relay for Life and the Cancer Society. Contestants embark on a race from Property Brokers' Head Office at 240 Broadway Palmerston North and take on a variety of disciplines before being greeted with Mangatainokas finest East India Pale Ale at the Tui Brewery.

There are six legs, so the majority of teams are made up of 6 members, but you can have up to 10 or as few as one if you are really keen!

In association with our friends at Tui, C B Norwood and Media Works, this event is a great challenge, good fun and in the name of a terrific cause. If competing isn’t your thing, the party at the brewery afterwards is a good incentive.

- When:
Saturday 29 February ’20, 11:00am – 4:00pm
- Where: Property Brokers, 234 Broadway Avenue
- Restrictions: All Ages
- Ticket Information:
* Team (4-10 participants): $600.00
* Small team (2-3 participants): $300.00
* Solo participant: $200.00
* Sponsor a team: $600.00

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
