Want to learn more about the candidates for the upcoming election? We are running this event next weekend where many of our local community board, council and even mayoral candidates will be speaking - your chance to ask them about what's important to you.
12pm to 2.30 at the Hub, 39 Nursery Road. Free BBQ, some pizza, and activities for the kids!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
