Ladies doing great things in the Hutt Valley
I just had to share this photo:) There are people who do things for attention, for money, for ego and then there are those that just do, because it's a great thing to do! I admire these ladies so much. I have known both for over 15 years and can attest to their endless support of community and charity needs. So here's my shout out for the Lower Hutt Mayoress #LindaGossWallace and #HeatherNewell, Upper Hutt City Council candidate. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
