St Martins Menzshed meeting - for current and prospective members
On Monday 16th September, the St Martins Community Menzshed is holding a members meeting in the St Martins Presbyterian Church, 43 St Martins Road, Christchurch. If you have already joined, or are interested in finding about about this new Menzshed which will be opening soon for St Martins, Opawa, Huntsbury, Cashmere, Beckenham and surrounding neighbourhoods, then come along to this update meeting. Doors open at 5:30 PM, meeting starts at 6 PM.
Please bring along a plate of finger food to share if you are able!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
