I thought I would share this lovely healthy recipe from Yvonne Gloor of Synergy, one of our instore Nutritionists.
Ingredients:
1 cup Almond Flour
1 cup Oats
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tst Sea Salt
1/2 cup Organic Raisins
3 tblsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
2 Eggs
1/4 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
2 Carrots (grated)
1 Banana (ripe and mashed)
Preheat oven to 180C. Line a muffin tray with baking paper.
Mix together flour, cinnamon, salt, oats and raisins in a bowl. Combine oil, maple syrup, egg, milk, carrot and banana in a separate bowl. Then combine all ingredients together and mix well.
Pour the mixture evenly into tray to create 9 muffins. Bake for 30 minutes.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
