Communications from Tawa Lions Club

At the Tawa Lions Market at Outlet City this Saturday we will have new seasons Freesia Bulbs, packaged and ready for planting now or in the next couple of months. These bulbs have been sourced from the Main Land (Rakaia), they have been kept under temperature control to ensure the highest quality and are in packets of 20 bulbs for just $5.00

On sale also will be the usual honey, eggs, jams, plus fresh veggies from our loyal Levin Market Gardner.

Come along and support Tawa's best Saturday Market and talk to the Lions members on duty and find out about the worlds largest service organisation, you never know, there may be something that you could contribute to Lions that will enhance the lives of others in our Tawa Community.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
