Ladies Craft Groups
Ladies of all ages get together every Tuesday during school terms at Milford Baptist Church- 3 Dodson Avenue and do crafts and paintings. Come and join them to learn new skills and have fellowship. It is from 10 am to 11:30 am. $3.00 donation per session goes towards a morning tea and the rest to chosen charities at the end of the year.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
