Friends of Petone Beach Planting Day
Yesterday a bunch of us popped across the road to the Petone foreshore, where we supported Friends of Petone Beach for a planting dayđ±
Our crew got stuck in straight away, planting a total of 810 plants along the western end of Petone Beach.
These plants help to protect the dunes from storm surge damage and rising sea levels, reduce the amount of sand blown onto properties along the beachfront, and restore the native biodiversity.
After planting, they are protected with netting so the pesky rabbits donât get a hold of them â giving them a chance to grow.
Wheelchair Needed
Hi, there fellow people of my community, I'm currently looking for a wheelchair for my longtime patient as the older he gets the less mobility he has, if anyone knows of a wheelchair for Free or Cheap that would be greatly appreciated. Please txt me or email. 022-176-3899
