A second track for the Trentham-Upper Hutt railway line
Kia ora residents. We're adding a second track to the line between Trentham and Upper Hutt. Double-tracking will mean more services and, in time, longer and faster trains. We're preparing the ground from August. Construction starts in October and continues for around 18 months. Wheelchair Needed
