Red right turn arrows at Kennedy/Wycliffe/Maadi Road's

I have set up a petition to get the Napier City Council to reprogram the traffic lights at the Intersections of Kennedy Road and Wycliffe Street and also Maadi road. They have not been correctly set up to NZTA guidelines. For those of you who frequently travel this way will understand how frustrating this is. The red right turn arrows need to turn off after a delay like the Taradale road into Maadi road intersection to help with traffic flow. Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️

First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.

While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.

And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?

Incinerator

Hi does anyone have a garden incinerator they no longer need or would like to sell/give away? I need to burn some accounts/documents - or if anyone has any idea how to get rid of them apart from public recycling let me know - Thanks
