Waimakariri council warned 'several times' about dangerous dogs prior to attack, residents say
Multiple complaints had been made about five dogs which attacked a woman and her dog in North Canterbury last week, despite contrary claims made by the Waimakariri District Council.
Neighbours of the dogs' owner have come forward after Larissa Corboy and her dog Mouse were left needing surgery following the vicious attack. They said they had warned the council about the dogs on several occasions.
