Timaru still affected by power outage after car hit pole earlier this morning
Power is still out in large parts of Timaru after a car snapped a concrete transformer-laden power pole off at the ground level on Friday morning.
Delays in restoring the supply have been caused by the fact the pole had a transformer on it. Alpine Energy hopes to have power restored by 4pm. Read more
