Pay By Plate comes to town
Pay By Plate parking arrived in central Blenheim this week. 24 new meters have replaced the old lollipop meters.
The off-street Pay & Display machines have also been upgraded to the new Pay by Plate system. The ticketless meters mean drivers enter their vehicle plate number, and desired parking time, before using coins or a credit/debit card to pay.
A new ‘Pay my Park’ app that’s free to download from Google Play or the App Store can also be used to pay for parking, without having to stop off at a parking terminal.
