Part Time Caretaker/Property Coordinator – Greenacres School
Greenacres School has a part time caretaker position available commencing 1 July 2019. The role involves carrying out a wide range of duties to help ensure that our school is maintained as a safe, tidy and secure environment.
The successful candidate will have some experience in the basic maintenance of buildings and grounds and the ability to liaise with contractors for more significant projects. Major grounds work including mowing is currently completed by a separate contractor. The caretaker will also be required to identify hazards and carry out regular building Warrant of Fitness checks.
We are looking for someone who is positive, proactive and reliable and will enjoy building relationships across our school community with staff and students. The successful applicant will have a full driver’s license and display excellent time management, flexibility and communication skills.
This role will be for 20 hours a fortnight with negotiable days and timeframes, although being able to be onsite during school hours is essential. This is a fixed term six-month contract with the possibility of renewal in the future.
