First of Winter Markets

Marty Sebire from Carterton Farmers' Market

This week is Carterton Farmers Market's first Winter market, held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month for the next three months. And this week our stallholders are:

Local Growers with a variety of winter season veges. Audrey still has her tunnelhouse capsicums producing well, and with her medium red horns selling for $1.50 each, they are great value.

Julie Winder will be on stall this week selling lemons, limes, late season feijoas, rhubarb, and her Greytown-grown olive oil and dukkah.

Helen at the Garden for Life is selling a wide range of high quality garden handtools including a selection of bronze tools, which do not rust, will stay sharp for long periods, and have a lifetime guarantee.

Maureen's Plants will be back again with her selection of flowering perennials as well as some natives trees and herb plants for sale.

We welcome Adrienne's Crafts to the market for the first time. Adrienne will be selling her knitted wares as well as other crafty stuff.

Other stalls attending include:

Hensons Gardens
Helen's Honey
Coffee On the Go

It's supposed to be fine tomorrow with the southerlies all but gone for the next day or so. A good excuse for a brisk stroll down to the Carterton Farmers Market to check out the "locally grown" wares and fares. It would be great to see you there!
