New Meditation Group
Next Tuesday 11June at 7.00pm at the St Martins Presbyterian Church, 43 St Martins Road, we are beginning a new group to explore and practice Christian Meditation. This group is open to anyone wanting to practice being still with others. We will meet weekly but participants will be invited to practice mediation daily. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
