This Friday June 7th at the Bakehouse Cafe on Alexandra St, Te Awamutu, members of the TA Creative Fibre Club will be at the cafe ‘knitting in public’ come along & say hi. We can answer any questions you might have about joining our Club where you can knit, crochet, spin, dye, felt & weave or learn too!! We look forward to seeing you this Friday!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
