Do you want to get fit? Learn something new for 2019? Want confidence? New friends. Self defense? Self discipline? Karate class every Monday night at the Rangiora Showgrounds Function Centre at 7pm. Beginners welcome - from age 8 and up. Maybe you have trained in another style of martial arts - come and give Kyokushin Karate a go. Any past students of Sempai Michelle from the Cust Dojo - we would love to see you at our new Rangiora Dojo. So dust off your Dogi and pop on down - or give me a shout first if you want.! Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
