Maybe a large number of the students are of voting age or will be soon, one thing they can do is watch and see who and how the present and the future Politicians campaign on climate issue's then use their vote.
If they don't vote and just stand back and wait for someone else to do the job for them, then don't jump up and down if it doesn't happen , you have the almighty power of the vote.
