Rat plauge in the neighbourhood.
I have 2 rat traps. For the past fornight I have managed to catch 1 or 2 rats every night, that's about 20 rats and they are still coming. I'm hoping this mild weather will continue a bit longer so I can catch as many more as possible before the winter weather drives them inside the house.
I'd really like to seee other neighbours tackling the rat problem becasue it can't just be my house. I really recommend the traps from Predator Free NZ as they have double springs on them giving them more power. I've had rats pull themselves free of the traps available from the local hardware stores.
